Amazon Affiliate link above.  The Vevor 12 X 10 Heat Press is the perfect inexpensive beginner press for the comic enthusiast!  Very low initial cost takes price out of the reasons to not start pressing comics yourself, but there are some things you need to know about this press.  First, the instructions are not the greatest (common problem with almost all presses reviewed), even for basic intended use (heat transfer to clothing) the instructions are more than a little vague.  Luckily, the internet has tons of good basic instructions and easily found on Google, or check out our tutorial HERE.  As with all presses in the entry level pricing category, some design issues are evident.  Clearly this a small platen (pressing surface) limiting the size of publications that can be pressed, and obviously only one at a time.  The heating element is moderate-low wattage and will require longer warming times and less than perfect heat distribution.  Construction is lighter weight than industrial presses which can limit the amount of pressure that can be exerted and when using strong pressure there is some visible deflection.

All that being said, the Vevor 12 X 10 press produces good results under common pressing requirements, and is the ideal low cost way to start your pressing journey!  Two thumbs up for a basic beginner press! Disclosure: Some of the links here are affiliate links.
